This roof was originally a 3/12 when it was built in 1974. These 12/12 peaks were added some time later. Probably when they put in the AC. Unfortunately, it was a home made job. These truss modification, coupled with the other issues in the home will take the repair costs over 50% of the value of the home... that is significant because, as per the Florida Building Code: " When repairs and alterations amounting to more than 50 percent of the value of the existing building are made during any 12 month period, the building or structure shall be made to conform
to the requirements for a new building or structure or be entirely demolished."
