Two fails here. The roofer that did not properly install the shingles. Permit date, Nov 13. Then the gutter guy compounding the problem. Damage in the attic is extensive.

Every day I see homes that have issues with moisture intrusion. A huge cause of this is because the irrigation system sprays on the home. The issue is that it never has time to dry out and it builds up and eventually comes through the walls. These pics are from a home that I inspected today in Ocoee. The entire South side of the home was constantly sprayed with water. Even with the heavy solar loading that the South face gets, it was saturated. The moisture meter is pegged out. The drywall was soft to the touch because it was soaked. When I pulled back the baseboards, I found a science experiment that Bill Nye would have been proud of... Watering your home is really a bad idea. No matter how much you water your home, it will not grow... but bad stuff will!
